Repeatable process
Filip Ivarsson and Carl Fredrik Emrik have collaborated on an investigation into metal casting methodologies, tools, and the creative potential of material remnants generated through production processes.
Their exhibition shifts the focus away from finished objects and instead highlights the processes behind them. It presents tools, prototypes, and residual materials as central elements of the work.
Repeatable Process explores aluminium as a material that can remain in local circulation through repeated remelting, recycling, and continuous processing. Based on a mobile aluminium foundry, it explores a practice in which production, use, and reuse become part of the same ongoing process.

Instead of treating recycling as a remote industrial step, the process is made locally through a mobile aluminum foundry. Production and remaking are folded into a single, continuous cycle where leftover material is never discarded, but kept in constant circulation as an active resource.
To further broaden this exploration, collaborating designers and artists from different contexts contribute their own interpretations. Working together to further expand our collective understanding and regain control over the materials that shape our world.
